Default hpr shim under ?????

ok, you guys that have installed hpr cams and shim under kits... the directions say .006 for intake and .008 for exhaust,
but it also states that with high perf. cams up to .018....
im at between .013 to .016 for all 4 valves with the shims that came with the kit.......... so... is this OK???????
thanx guys,.......

That will be fine. It will just leave a little on the table for performance, as it wont be opening the valves as far as it could. If it were mine, and I didnt have anyother shims around, I would run it. Remember I said I like the .008. But thats the goal, a little bigger wont hurt anything sept a tiny bit of performance. If you want every last bit of it, then get some thicker shims.
