Mine has been reliable for me for two years.I had heard some talk of starter problems associated with the Big Gun CDI but after researching the situation i could not find evidence of this.

For under 500 the end cap or HMF slip on. You dont really need a full yet. Carb and CDI with a K&N or good foam filter. I run no air box in your conditions allow.

as long as you take care of it it shouldn't i am pretty sure they are powdercoated which holds up pretty good...I wouldn't get the full system alot of people say the stock is awesome just needs an endcap but I went the full exhaust anyhow...def get the K&N,intake is really easy to take off but may not be wnated if you still have it under warrenty...rejet get rid of the airbox lid,get youself a 520 chain and get rid of the 530 and get machined hubs should help you out on rotating mass. The big gun I hear is a great box so I would get it but save the old stuff just incase since it is still under warrenty

If he rides in muddy conditions, the disked end cap will clog. An open one is a better way to go for him. Every time we put the end cap right up to the HMF slips ons, it was hard to see any real world difference.

Nathan Badlands is getting ready to set a sound level limit due to nearby Attica compaining of noise. An open end cap on the stock muffler is loud and most likely will not pass.
My vote is an HMF slip-on.

Its setting a sound level? that sucks. This better not turn out like the nearby dunes.Hmf is a loud exhuast i thought.Should i do a quet core? Also im thinking of a black mufler.
