I wish Eric would correct me if im wrong. This was a built stock bore around the same weight as my bike. Im gonna run 300ft soon and was wondering what some good times were for my similar set up. I know Eric is good on the light, But for that heavy of a bike NOT being on nos that seems like a good # for a stock bore stock chassis. Anyone know?

You would be very close to accurate- if memory serves it was a little under 400, no paddles (and spinning like crazy). He ran a 4.7 with the exact same setup on a single carb. All testing seemed to stop there, so we may never know?
By the way, how ya'll been?

you know, I agree. I have alot of fun going fast on a drag frame and NOS, but there's just something about doing it on a stock frame. Drag frames and nitrous just seem to make it unfair.

Wow, forever the optimist! Let's see, the closest thing we have so far is Choose drag frame NOS at 4.6 and Eric's stock frame motor 4.6. Six tenths is a long way to go in 6 months!!! And.... there hasn't been much research or testing lately on the stock bore..... has there?

I dont mean to toot my own horn. But guys, lets remember, we are seeing history made with a bone stock engine. It will be a stock bore soon. But NOT until I get one more shot to break into the 4.5's.

Its a great comparison for all of us to consider. Eric's stock bore=77hp approx 380lbs
Scott's stock engine + NOS=72hp approx 310lbs

This is a great feat for both bikes. No doubt about it.

Ive ALWAYS like all motor to motor races. Sometimes we have to even the odds. But the feeling you get when its all motor and its takin names is a great feeling.

And I am willing to go out on a limb and say that in the next 8 months my bike will run 4.1 on all motor at 365 lbs. NO NOS...!!! Stock bore stock stroke...

We will be testing a whole new stock bore here soon... sending her off in the next 4 months... The the bar will be raised beyond belief.

I beleive with paddles and nos the stock bore of erics could have done much better. I noticed others were running paddles. But he wasnt.

Choos- Good job on the #s. I think its torq to weight ratio.

Put a 2-5 override in either Eric's or Choose's combo and you are at 4.3-4.4. So either spraying Eric's or making Choose's a stock bore not stock and it's not so far away. What percent of nitro was Eric mixing to make those numbers?

I can't argue with you I have always been an incurable optimist It comes with many disappointments but they never last long because I quickly find the good in the failure to meet expectation

On this, however, I think I am accurate I know the guy gunning for this and he is not the kind of guy to give up
