wisdom tooth
#15
I had two wisdom teeth taken out when I was 18 years old. They were pretty small so they had to really dig them out. For me, pain killers dont work very well. I woke up halfway through the proceedure - Actually it was kinda cool - I wish I would have been awake during the whole thing. I had a few minor problems afterwords, but a short time later I was good to go.
The fact is, no matter the complication afterwords, if any, its pretty minor compared to problems arising from having them in the first place. Odds are you wont have any complications - but if you do, they are no big deal man.

gee maybe thats why i have so much wisdom , i still have all 4 of mine. theres a new technique called sleep dentistry, its been around for a while but it is new to me. you eat a pill at home at 6 then you get to your dentist at 7 eat another pill 8 you eat one more 11 oclock or so your at home not knowing or caring how you got there and then you will sleep like a baby til around 4:30. get you some vicodin and dont worry, they only thing you have to worry about is something called dry socket. im not dure exactly what that is but everyone i know that got dry socket said it hurt worse tha the pulling of the teeth, you will be alright

Depends on the condition of your teeth. If any are impacted they have to be cut out, not pulled, this is mouth surgery and nothing to sneeze at. My bottom wisdom teeth were impacted AND infected, I had to take medication for a week before they could cut them out and while the procedure itself was painless the next week was pure misery.
I was 17, my bottom jaws were swollen badly and no pain medication in the world made a difference (they gave me demerol and valium) but the pain never stopped.
IF your teeth are coming in straight there should be no problems other then your bottom jaw will be a little sore. Genererally if they come in straight and don't cause any problems you don't have to have them pulled.
I had my bottom two done first, took me two years to go back for the tops and they were no big deal at all.

This might make you feel better.....
I got my wisdom teeth out in my early 20s. All 4 of them. I was tired afterwards but that night ambtious enough to work on the 5.0L I had at the time. While all 4 corners were up on jackstands a girl I barely knew stopped over. Next thing you know.... doin' it in the 5.0 while up on jackstands! Shocked it never fell over! Anyway maybe your wisdom teeth operation might be one of your best memories like mine is
