I happen to have video footage of every run my DS made that day. I even have the footage of Tony pulling the so called 90 hp 350. That Banshee was pulling me by a length but Tony was slightly ahead by the top of the hill.

I was going through DS withdrawel so I watched the video again Saturday night.

Btw, my DS had a single carb that day. The duals have arrived which means I can run a little lower gears with the added rpm and overrev. I am optimistic about that

Do you have a lightweight drivetrain? (aluminum axle)

I knew what you meant, Mike. My video footage took in the whole hill though and every bike I ran against is on that tape so I know the truth and can prove it.

Since this is the topic of the thread, you ought to have your wife video tape the hill when your bike runs. It puts you in a strong position since facts have a tendency to change over time........especially in the minds of the Florence Banshee crowd That would be the cheapest way to keep everyone honest.

I'm like you, I am happy to admit when I get beat fair and square. I like to watch the video footage of my hill racing so I can see how my suspension is hooking on the whoops and how quickly I am shooting out of the hole. It gives you a more global perspective on how your bike is running and what you could do to improve it..........I think.

Scott i still have the stock axle.I may eventually go with a lightened axle but since me and the wife just bought a new Goldwing (new to us 04)to have converted into a trike funds are a bit limited for a while. The gains i got from my lightened hubs and wheels and tires showed me that reducing rotating mass is huge for performance.

You can count on 2 bikes lengths with the jj&a axle/hubs. Trust me. This will make the bigbore's feel a little uneasy.
