I don't really know........I'm still thinking about your first question. This is simply stalling

I rember this from lifting weights agin.. this is just hands on feel stuff.. I don't have the calcs to back it.. Although I swear i read somewhere around the forums about this.

What if the barbell weighed exactly the same as the dumbell (feels awkward referring to myself in the 3rd person)........would you get the same results?
I just want to make sure it isn't the extra weight of the added length causing the phenomenon.

hmm.. interesting.. You know the "Axle" of the bar weighs 45lbs so you have 27.5 lbs of "tires" at each end. and the dumbell bar is prolly 10 lbs and the weights is then 45lbs on each side.. hmm what about the diameter of the weights and.... awwww fock it this is givin me a headache.. Seat of the britches will tell ye

Sounds like theories are getting side tracked with the whole bar bell vs dumb bell ideas. What I'm understanding from OFC, is does spaceing your tires at different widths on the SAME axle have any difference, I would say absolutely not. The rotational mass isn't changing at all, but you might be gaining some advantages hooking up in the tracks/ruts where ever you are racing. Now with tires close together, your bike might roll sideways quicker and easier

Based on what I saw the other day, the real question is:
Does a cheeto spin faster with or without salsa? lol
OFC - I am still thinking about it. It seems as though there would be a change in leverage even if the overall weight was the same........lol, but nothing in my experience has prepared me for this line of reasoning
