azdave is getting different opinions on what would work best for him and only he knows what is best for him but....I am suggesting HPR parts and advice because of my research that led me to them for my build and because their parts work well for me.I talked with azdave on the phone for quite a while and i gave him the straight story on what has worked for me and why.I never claim to be much of a mechanic so i have others that are more qualified build my motors for me and that works for me but if azdave and others feel confident i say go for it and save some money but i will stick with what i know and that is not putting a motor together.I believe that research before a build can be as important as what you use for parts and who asembles it for you so it is good that there is information being shared here.It seems to be tougher all the time to try and share credible and valid information on this forum without starting an argument or causing someone to claim that a certain builder is being promoted and hopefully that will change.Even with all the recent drama going on here lately this is still a very good source of information and i will continue to contribute what i can.

Sometimes thats a valid option. Its nice to see them all. Further, I've never seen you invalidate someone elses post because they didnt agree with you. You simply give your honest opinion as you see it. I like that - Just my humble opinion.

Thanks for all the feedback guys, I respect the fact that everyone still at least values their own opinions.... regardless of where they came from. I mean it's who ya' are. I do appreciate everyone's comments and opinions. I think I may start with a stout high compression stock bore with a big carb, some healthy mid to top end cams and remain undecided on the exhaust......
Keep it coming guys and thanks!!
