Yet Another Clutch cover problem

Yet Another Clutch cover problem
I have slaved over this thing for hours. I cannot get this cover off. I read others had the same problem but the answer was never very clear. I have removed the cover a few times but since my clutch was acting up (When you let off the clutch lever it wouldn't fully go back to it's disengaged state). I'm ready to cut the damn thing off. Any ideas?

Yet Another Clutch cover problem
Since the clutch cover is damaged.. I used a pair of vice grips and kept turning the clutch arm. Well it turns out the 3rd tooth on the clutch hub itself is broken (the teeth on the clutch cover shaft looks like they have thier share of wear as well).
What causes this? Clutch springs? This bike has a set of Pami springs and has been ridden really hard in drag racing and MX. Now to replace the darn thing. Wonder how much work is it to replace. Thanks for the input guys. It's always great to get info on here.
