Default HELP..I CAN'T DECIDE..CAT 650TRV or CANAM MAX?

congrats on your choice of machines. i went with the 800 just because i like to have too much power, well actually you cant have to much power. with every diff machine there are a couple of things that you will adjust to that might be diff from something you might have rode in the past. overall an execelent choice. i have over 1500 mi and 0 problems, knock on wood, other than 1 time i had a small amount of sweat on part of the speedo housing, inside. from where i ride to where i live is 10 mi,but the temp can drop 20 degrees.what you will encounter in this forum are some people who are from other forums jealous of what we ride and try to claim they are as fast and as good, but all of us know the truth thats why we made the purchase that we did.after awhile they get burned out and go back to their forum complaining about their machine. keep us posted on you upgrades.

About some of those small trailers there is a saying, sometimes the cheapest turns out to be more expensive, know what i mean? i believe those are bolt together because of thin materials used and if you change anything you will make it weaker, if you make it longer you will need to relocate the axle. the method i use is think of the trailer as a square, and i set back the axle 6 inches aft of center so it pulls without sway and that will make the tongue weight correct for a single axle. i heard of someone doing what you are thinking about, but i dont know if they are satisified.

Hey 650 MaxDaddy, congrats on your purchace! Have fun and don't be a stranger to these forums. Most people here don't care what you ride, and most will respect other opinions in an adult fashion (there are exceptions of course).
Enjoy your new ride!
