BRP has been expirementing with the DS.

I heard about a perimeter aluminum framed DS with a 720cc engine that was built for testing. Don't know if BRP will go that route, but they are looking at making changes.

Also heard about putting the 800cc engine idn a DS frame, but it would be a CVT and most DS fans like having gears, so I doubt that will happen.

I think BRP is going the right direction with the 800cc CVT package with the Renegade. They will probably release a 2X4 version of a Renegade eventually, which would be about 65#s lighter than the 4X4 version.

I have had great luck so far with the 804 raptor. I know we dont have the same hp as glens bike but we hope to get there and hold together. I have a big valve head almost finished so we will see how the hp goes after that.

Glen, do you mind telling us how much hp you pull on all motor. My 804 on gas with stock valves put down 77 hp and carried over 70 hp from 5400 to 8400 rpm, it also peaked right at 70 ftlbs torque
