Default Adjusting shocks on Outlander ??

I just adjusted my shocks all the way out, what should I expect to notice? They were all the way down and I never seemed to have any problems bottoming out or anything.

I did the same a few days after i got it and didn't notice much diff. I base my opinion on riding the hardpack road i live on. lots of curvs. hitting washboard and pot holes jerks the bars a little more but nothing you can't handle. I still get quite a bit of nose dive on tight corners, but i've got a lot of extra weight up front with the winch and xt bumper. i'm curious to hear how yours handles with the shed weight.

To update this thread. I extended the front to the last setting and the rear to the second to last setting. I noticed a significant difference! I rode a few trails with a lot of whoops, usually in order for me to hit these with any speed I have to get my a$$ all the way back on the seat and its still rough, with the adjusted shocks I flew through these whoops with out ever bottoming out once. Another area I had tested was approaches at the base of a hill, whether coming down or going up, I could hit these with much more authority then before, definately an improvement. I went up and down these whoops a few times just to kind of push it and see how it would handle and it was simply excellent.

Stiffening up the front shocks really controls the body roll on my Max. I usually leave it on the middle setting for both front and back for comfort and when I put the Mud lite XTR's on. However, if I am with a bunch of riders wanting to go fast, I crank up the front and can corner with the best of them.
