Default New Can-Am Outlander 650 owners report

Has anyone heard or experienced anything about the new Can-Am Outlander 650 twin. I would like to learn more about this machine for my neighbors sake, it looks pretty sweet. And i can't believe the new technology compared to my 00 wolverine. Good/Bad reviews are all appreciated.

Well I have the 800 which is pretty much identical except for the CC's.

It's all good )

I'm having a hard time finding any real faults with this machine. A bit more storage would be nice. Skid plates are a must IMO, the bottom is fairly open. I'd recommend adjusting the shocks all the way out and maybe some hand guards.

It's a good machine, I'm sure he'll be happy with it. Makes all kinds of funny sounds so don't be alarmed.

He wanted to get a plow for it too. Do most major manufacturers make a plow that mounts on the strange frame, i couldn't see anywhere for a plow to mount except for on the floorboards. Thanks for the help

I have been using a Moose 60" County plow for a few years now, and it works great. I think the blade alone weighs around 90 lbs. It is a heavy duty plow. It utilizes a heavy plate that attaches with 4 bolts underneath the belly of my quad and connects and disconnects easily with 2 clip pins that attach to a square tubular frame that attaches behind the plow blade. Fits Traxter and Quests. Simple and reliable setup.
