I painted my front bumper, rear grab, and subframe all black. Very nice contrast to the grey frame. The rest of the bike is black (plastics, seat, ect) so it works. The paint has been blasted off the front bumper a little, but generally it has held up well. Its no show bike, but I think it looks good. I used a thick black paint made for auto frames, called Rust Sheild... the stuff is really nice.

On the Rhino Lineing... I was looking into getting my plastics done with that or LineX. No more scratches! I think it would be cool.

For the grab or the bumper yes... no for the subframe due to grounding issues. I'm sure you could grind it off but why chance it.

Alright i think im going to do that.I know this sounds like a dumd question but how do you take the stock grab bar off.I havent tried yet.But it looks like the screw that hold the exhuast and the grab bar on doesnt have enough clearence to be taken out to take the grab bar off.Or do you take the oposit side of then slide it off the exhuast/grab bar long screw. If you understand what im trying to ask then how do you do this.

If I remember right its just 4 bolts... nice and easy. Get a good look at it, and you will have no probs.

Hmmmmmmm.....interesting, it still might chip though if you hit it hard enough since the plastic has spring to it.

Yea, thats true. The only thing I was worried about was the liner peeling off the plastic... I was thinking the Rhino would be better than the lineX, because it is more flexable. That stuff is actually very flexable. Adhereing to the plastic is the tough part. I know Crazy Painter has a way to add flex somehow to a primer, so I thought that something along those lines would deff be necessary. Anyway, just one of the many wacky thoughts that go through my mind.

Not a bad idea at all.......throw enough crap against the wall some might stick! LOL

I'd be interested in how this might work or if you have any other info. The outsides of my floorboards are already getting beat up.
