I read in dirt wheels that the power now works. Does any of you guys currently use one? I was wondering what you think.

Here is the link to there site: www.scaryfastracing.net

I plan on getting one for my 2004 DS650. Yes they do make one. Thanks guys, Derek

More air = more power. I don't know how much of a difference it makes, but increasing air flow into the engine will probably increase throttle response at least.

Wow, Really. . . Dirt Wheels said they work!!!

I gotta call these guys NOW. . . what's their number???

Good luck. . . let us know how it works.

Ideally, put it on the dyno before then after the modification so you can see how much power it really got you.

Do they have a money-back guarantee?

to be honest you can do a couple little tricks with your carb and trim your air box snorkles and do the same.

Actually, you can do absolutely nothing to your atv and do the same all while saving yourself $100.00. Use your favorite search engine and you should be able to find plenty of tests done that prove these don't work. A few of the tests even have dyno numbers and mpg data to back it all up.

Wow I wish I would have thought of that just think of all the money they are going to make on a rip off product.
1. It goes into the intake of your carb so it actually decreases the air flow. Might give you small gains down low but will sacrifice top end.
2. they show that it works by deviding the air flow to the bottom of the carb while accelerating to increase air velocity? I thaught the slide did that HMMMM ?

I have never seen any evidence that they work....

IMO, you would be better off shoving a shop rag in your carb. LOL

They were designed for 2 strokes and flat side carbs.

The cv carb already controls velocity. I am putting a flat spacer in the intake tube to control turbulence.

If it has any merit I will let you know shortly. To straighten the air before going through the butterfly should help.

But sometimes what makes sense does not always work.

not to change the subject but i bought one of those things called tornados. you put them in the intake and it creates a twirling of the air.said i would gain 5 to 8 hp on my truck, one week later i threw it in the trash.
