did you know that can-am can remap the 800 so it has up to 100 hp this is what a rep told me of course i asked if we could get it done the awnser was no only can am engineers do it.

 

The rep was pulling your Johnson.
The only way you can make that kind of HP is with air. The only way to get more air in an engine is with a bigger intake track, bigger exhaust, bigger valves, bigger cams, wind it up tighter, ect etc..........
The ECM EFI is about as good as it gets from the factory.

someone is pulling your leg. the only thing they can remap would be timing & curve + fuel delivery.

 

what do you tink of the dobeck tfi and muffler did it make much of a differance im going to be putting one in also.

 

yes,anytime you open up the exhaust & air intake ,add more fuel it will make a diff. i also drilled 4 holes that r 1 1/4"in the air box lid.

 

the factory reworked 650 ds that they raced in the desert had 90 hp.
