Hey does anyone know what happen to on dunes store, Is he closed for good, I was just wondering. I was going to buy a clutch for them....I'm sad now...[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

Too much politics in providing a store like that. A number of people want the best, they want it now and they want it cheap. That means there is no money to be made if that is the expectation of the market.

Most people understand why the custom parts take time and cost money and most of what On-Dunes brokered was custom parts. There are and will always be a loud few in every cross section of society that don't understand how these kinds of businesses work and they make their opinions known publicly first, then they settle things in private afterwards. That takes its toll on businesses and on the morale (emotional state of mind) of its owners.

It wouldn't take much of that for me to want to get out of a business that didn't have big margins. You only put up with that kind of hassle if you really believe in what you are doing AND you are making good money at it, IMHO.

I am not speaking for them, I am simply sharing why I would not want to be in this business..........

glenn and ron are very helpful and great guys to do buisness with. i have talked with both on the phone and have alot of respect for them and every thing they do. hope they start having a little more fun in this up comming season.
