have any of you checked out the 525 Outlaw? Also, what is the outlaw like to ride through anything other than trails?

I've raced one and wasn't overly impressed. It's ok but stock for stock I don't think it can take a 700 raptor. I also know someone who has a ktm 525 dirt bike. Don't expect the outlaw to be able to run with the ktm. For the guys who trail ride alot the irs may be a good thing but I don't really look for it to catch on big though. Where in Lamar County are you from? I used to live in Blossom and Deport and went to school at Prairieland. If you get the chance you need to come to Foulke Arkansas, right on the other side of Texarkana, and come to Red River Sand Drags sometimes. It's alot better place to ride than the river on 37 north of Clarksville.

FASTFATBOY, I didn't know the Outlaw 525 was even out yet? I have a buddy interested in one, but I didn't think they were coming out until spring of 07?? Correct me if I'm wrong and I'll check with our local dealer!

I was checking one out at the local dealer the other day when I went to look over a GSX-R750 so I guess there out.

i think they are really nice for trails, but there's nothing wrong with a straightaxle quad for trails, they're so light (except the old preddy and the ds)you can just lift them,

i wouldnt get one tho, until people start racing them in MX and do good, i like straight axles much better cuz mx is way more fun for me

The powerplant will be respectable. But you will have a hard time getting the power to the ground with an independent rear suspension.
