Default motor paint is bubbled

Ok i know its just a quad, but i'm kinda particular about some things.. my buddy is makeing fun of me about this whole thing.
My biggest concern was , wether or not it could have actually overheated enough to bubble the paint. But it seems that isnt possible....also,its only the paint on the jub, not the head or crank case.....Makes sense about it being a factory defect. The original owenr says it was always like that.
You guys have any comments about the over heating issue... could it be possible.
thanks mike
I doubt it.

If it got that got then I don't think your rings would be there on your piston instead they would be melted on the cylinder...I know if my pants get close to my head pipe they melt so maybe plastic or something got on the side of the engine and melted on there or its glue or something stupid like that...all you need to do to your friend is glow by him or roost him and I bet he will shut up lol

Mine has the same issue. The paint is bubbled on the left side right by the gasket to the head.
