Default Neutral Switch Failer?

Has anyone had this happen? I was told the NEUTRAL SWITCH (Brass End Tip) in the Lower part of the motor can break off? the guys at Pro Shop said that it has caused some Tranny failer, they said the Brass end sometimes breaks off and runs through the motor? There cure is a simple Plug KIt a few bucks and remove and disconnect the switch and repace with the plug, has any one heard of this problem??

I just had this happen on my Raptor, I hope it didn't break off, it just started leaking oil.
