I hate to say it, Mario is right , my curousity starting to get to me now, is a woods pipe better than a Big Gun? what RPM range? CDI's Vortex VS Woods, VS Big Gun, TM 45 VS TM48 humm time to look at the classified and E bay. Maybe its time to look for another DS for my lady.
Drives me nuts no one has put these items against each other in a controled test.

Erbe- Once you ride your bike and feel this new power your mind will run rampid looking for even more power... You will then become hooked like the rest of us (you might already have the bug)...lol
I have dynoed the tm 48mm and the lectron 48mm back to back same day. Of course in the search for more hp. I run a lectron 48mm. Holds a tune better at higher elevations and revs faster, and makes torq faster. But dont take my word for it, Check it out for yourself it will keep you busy and its a fun learning process.
The tm 48mm of couse will do better than the tm 45mm. Both great carbs but a pain in the **** to mess with jets.
I have my stockbore set up to billy goat past 10,000 RPM in a flash on all motor. Pulls all the way up like a street bike. In the future you can test stuff on the dyno to see the curves. At least we know there are alot of options.
What are your cam specs?
BTW- The woods pipe flows good, I had one and cut it down (about 4 inches off silencer) straightened out the mesh tubing inside of pipe as good as I can and re packed the he!! out of it. It ran even better. The ugly stick drag pipe MOPPED them all. I could pull another gear when I installed it.
JUST giving ya some food for thought!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
