Tires for max speed.

I was wondering what tires setup has had good results for maxing speed on utility quads like the outy 800 or renegade.
I have used the dirt devil 28"-10-12 setup all the way around on my grizzly 660, and brute force 750. It increased top end on both units and improved acceleration in the fields vs. same machines with stock tires. This was proven again the other day.
**Race Results**
Outy 800 stock with dirt devil 28-10-12's up front and 28-12-12's on back vs. 06 Honda TRX450 stock with stock tires. Usually the 12-12's on the back will knock off 3 mph over the what the 10-12's give you. Both raced on a rainy gravel road for 1/2 mile. Outy took lead by 2 lengths and maintained it the whole way. If outy would have had 28-10-12's all the way around he would have put many more lengths on the TRX450.
I will race the Outy 800 next week with my renegage and see if I can beat him. If not I'll be putting dirt devil 28-10-12's all the way around. The large circumference combined with the lighter weight than other mud tires and better traction = speed. The major downside it the higher center of gravity.
Anyone run any other tire that's faster than puny stock tires.

With the stock 25" ITP ATR's I took it today up to 76 and then let off. That is at 7800 rpm. I believe the rev limiter will not hit until 8000 but not sure. One guy already did a gps comparison speed and at 75 on the speedo he was 74.4 mph. That is pretty darn accurate for an atv speedometer. I may stick with the stock tires as they appear to be custom made for BRP by ITP. The fronts are rounder than the 26" atr's I have and the 25's are just about as big. The tires and rims come balanced with weights and you can drive it at top speed with one hand down the gravel road. I was amazed how it didn't wander at top speed. If anyone has a lightweight tall tire, I would love to hear it.
