Just wanting to know how the big gun cdi is still doing with you owners that have them on your ds.Im really considering one eventually.Alot cheaper than a vortex.

I've had mine for 6 months or so and no problems yet, always starts well, and I have never had the dreaded kickback.

Also i have a 2005 ds650x.And i heard it had a higher rev limiter. Will the big gun cdi add 1000 rpm on the baja or a viper model?

I ran a Big Gun on my 03 Baja for 2 seasons when it was stock and for all of last season with a built stock bore motor and i had no complaints.I recently bought a Vortex to take advantage of the different curves that should help with my higher compression but i would say that the Big Gun is a good buy and does make a difference.

So it will work with the x version.I wasnt sure because of the 7900 rpm compared to the viper model 7700, at least i think it goes.I just wanted to clear up that it will take my stock cdi and with that one it will be 1000 higher from 7900.And not at 7700 on the viper.
