Circle Track did an artical on race gas many years ago. The outcome? To make a long story short, they were all about the same. REAL close in the power they made.
IMHO things have not changed much.
I have had to change gasoline brands three times in the race cars I deal with. As long as I don't see any detonation I'm happy. I haven't with any brand. The plugs tend to all read a little different, but thats ok. That I can deal with that.
If your not Warren Johnson and every 1,000th of a second counts, just buy it and keep you eye on your plug. With 14 to 1 your going to be close to detonation. Close; but you should be fine.

Citgo is owned by Venezuela, their dictator is doing his best to screw over the U.S. cause he hates Bush, Americans and capitalism.
Just FYI, I know this is not the place for political posts, but thought you might want to know.

With a 14:1 piston, what are you guys running in the way of octane? I've heard 110 is OK, but also heard 116 is required...when i go 14:1. I want to make sure I'm safe!

the ds i put togather is running on the citgo 110, and so is the honda i have right now. havnt had any problems with either bike. took the honda apart to freshen the top end up and every thing looked great and its been on the citgo gas for a year. remember too much octane can be just as bad as not enough. the higher the octane the more heat.
