Default clutch problem maybe?

i was ridding my warrior around the yard today and every once in a while it was jolting .. like it poped out of gear.. but if thats what it did it went back in by itself.. then it made a bit of a grinding noise right before i put it away going from nutral to 1st? anyone ever had this happen before ? i hope its clutch related and not shift fork related.

what year is your warrior and have you had any work done currently on the drivetrain or messed with the clutch(cables)...Also did it feel like the clutch was slipping at all.

Default clutch problem maybe?

i just put new piston rings valve seals in and had it honed.. put on new clutch cable.. i may have found the problem with it though.. not 100 percent sure if this would do it or not.. but the reverse lever i dont think was all the way foward.. it was at the only point it seems to lock in .. which i geuss may be a neutral or something ? i dont really know how the reverse lever works.. but it doesent seem to lock in when you push it as far forward as it will go anyone know if its sposed to lock in ?.. think that could of been causing it ? its to cold out there to go ride it again so ill have to wait till tomorrow to find out for sure.. and sorry for posting this in the wrong forum.. i was just searching the can am forum and dreaming and forgot where i was and posted in here.. thanks for any help people

The falling outta gear is the warrior False nuetral.

your reverse lever should lock at each end.
Adjustment on your rod is too tight for your reverse lever to drop in its slot. play with the adjustment a lil it will go.

don't do it again haha j/p...it doesn't matter that you posted in here it's alright as long as you figure out the prob...yea the revers lever sometimes will click also when not engaged correctly so just mke sure that it is dissengaged and back into nuetral...if thats not the prob let me know or ofc

That will do it every time it used to happen to my warrior back in the day.
