My uncle has an outy 800...FAST!!! every time we go riding i ride it as much as possible it has got a smooth ride and it will spin around quite a bit when you get the shocks tightened but otherwise i luv it and it is a great time. Has beat everything in a race but a YFZ 450 (has not raced one yet).

if you buy a "non xt" the base model, the con is the tires. they do very well for trail riding but if you get into any sticky situations they suck. one overall con is you need to buy a skid plate. full belly. other than that have fun!

I have the "Max". (2 seater) I don't really intend on 2 people riding... I like the extra length which keeps the front end from coming up and adds some leaverage when pulling something or working it. I use mine to pull a "DR Power Grader" (works similar to a box scrape for a tractor) to smoothen my gravel driveway. Just ask yourself what you will be using it for. Working, racing, hunting, joy riding..... then decide. The suspension is great. It makes riding the roughest terrain... easy. I didn't get the XT model but seems that I am adding the XT package anyway. ( i couldn't find a dealer with the XT like I wanted.. nearby) The handgaurds are nice. I added the winch...because I've never had one before. It can be handy! & the power.... no need for more!.
