Default Gearing question.

I'm going to do a 520 conversion and was thinking about 15/35 as compared to 17/40, my rationale being that the 15/35 combo would be even lighter as they are both smaller sprokets, does this sound logical to y'all? Do ya think the 15/35 gearing would feel any different as it is only the equivalent of one tooth difference?

Default Gearing question.

You must be running a Honda sprocket hub to be able to run that small of a sprocket???

Default Gearing question.

Actually I'm running HPR's aluminum hub which is the same as the factory unit except for being lighter aluminum, I see various vendors listing 35 tooth rear sprokets for the DS, had you heard that using that small of a sproket would require a different hub?

Default Gearing question.

I to thought 38 was the smallest that would fit on a DS hub. I sure wouldn't bet the farm on it though. I will be curious to see if a 35 will fit.
