Default Bleeding front brakes

Just installed ASR braided steel front brake lines and I can't get any pressure. I put them on and opened the bleeders until fluid came out making sure the master cylindr never went dry, let it bleed out till I had to refill the bowl twice and I can't get any pressure no matter how long I pump. The cap is on while I pump and the bleeders are closed. Any idea on what I'm not doing right ? The ASR's are dual line right from the master cyl.
