AGREED!!! also make sure to either tape the snorkel all to hell so it wont collapse or use big zip ties or hose clamps.....or you can go to the dealer and just buy a newer model snorkel.

 

9 miles long WOW, those machines must be pretty worked to beat the top end of a DS, unless ur jettin is off, then it'd be rather simple, put a CDI box on 'er to help a lil

 

we raced for like 3/4 of a mile and then we let off but the yfz had atleast 6 lengths on me by the end 660 about 3 and was even with the 450r.

 

oh and by snorkle do you mean the hose that goes to the carb or the 2 hoses that are on the side going upto the tank.

ive heard the intake tube that goes from the carb to the air box collapses under full load is there a way to modify the tube so it doest collapse.

It's the hoses on the airbox, take them off and also take off the lid for more air flow. If you can afford it, put on a slip-on or full exhaust, check the garage thread here for good deals on those kinds of things. Also install a k&n filter.
