New End Cap carb setting?
Well I just purchased an end cap off eBay for my 2007 DS650. With a COMPLETELY stock bike (other than a K&N air filter installed in a stock air box), what jetting recommendation might I run here in the Willamette Valley of Oregon (sea level to 2500 ft).
I know, I know- A STOCK DS!?!, but after builing, riding, polishing, maintaining, and polishing a Raptor with WAY TOO much invested, I bought the DS to remain completely stock and thus bullet proof as far as reliability goes to ride the places the Raptor will not be allowed to even know about. . .
So, if I leave the stock airbox alone (to keep sand, mud, water, roadkill etc out of the airbox), what jetting should I run?? Bear in mind I'm not a mechanic and the only indication of a bad carb setting with be the seat of my pants.
Thanks
