Who makes the best and/or cheapest custom front sprockets. I want to put a different sprocket on my DS 250. Right now I'm looking at making the front sprocket larger, and I don't think there are any aftermarket ones out there yet. The DS 250 has a 520 reinforced O-ring chain, and the front sprocket is 15T stock.

 

How is the project coming along?LOL It seems to me that sprockets should not be the major stumbling block on such a wild project as the one to which you have previously referenced. Let me take this opportunity to reiterate one of the reasons why so many people have suggested a different model as your base vehicle.... THERE ARE NO AFTERMARKET PARTS FOR THE DS250 AND THERE PROBABLY NEVER WILL BE!!!!! This is not a race bike.... in fact to me it is a childs machine. No offense to anyone who has or rides one, but it is what it is. You will deffinetly have to have your sprockets custom cut, and I'll even go out on a limb and say that you might even have to provide the CAD design yourself. Maybe you could work out a deal with the sprocket shop to split the design costs. I'm not sure why they would though... the market for these sprockets could never cover the costs of development, no matter how small.
