#1
Well does any one know of some where to get custom riding boots, mine are 14 years and falling apart, my problem is I have HUGE calf's, about 20 to 21 inches and don't close and standard boots are made for them skinny legged guys about 16", any one across the USA??

Man, I had the same problem... tried on every freakin boot on the market, even the ones that people say have huge calve openings...nothing fit, not even the Sidi Forces that have the adjustable calf area. Anyway I had found a boot review online and it had the calf opening measurements in it, the boot that fit the biggest calves was the Gaerne SG-10, so I went to a local place and bought a pair. OMG are they the most comfortable boots I have ever worn, I can sleep in these things... I put them on at 7am and don't take them off till 11pm on riding trips, when all my buddies are taking theirs off on every break.
Now they fit pretty much but I couldn't get 2 buckles to reach, so I ordered some extra straps from Gaerne for a couple bucks and riveted some more length on them, it has held up for two years like this.
Not to mention these boots consistently are rated one of the best, safest, most comfy boots out there. I cannot say enough about them. Also my calves are over 20" for reference.
