Default LECTRON CARB KIT

crazyds i am running a 48hv on my stock bore with a 14.1 piston and other goodies. had it dyno with a 46hv and randall said i could gain with a 48hv. i did gain from upper midrange and on up. you should be doing just fine. good luck

I have run 48's on just bolt on bikes with no problems. It's all how you tune them. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

crazypainter let me know how your boys quad runs with that 48 i just thought with out any motor mods that that would be alot of fuel to be burning i dont know how quick the throttle response would be let me know,

crazyds the bom is right on the tuning of the bike it will work fine. the 48 means the distance in the opening of the carb for the air and fuel to go through or jets will decide on how much fuel you use. jetted it right and she will scream. that is to my understanding of it all.

i do alot of 300ft dirt and sand drags and alot of trail riding do you think the 46 or the 48 is better for my riding style

The tm will do either fine. The lectron is more of a drag racer.

I run the 48 on a bolt on bike.. pipe, filter, and proper porting of course. It runs great... very nice throttle response... and, I can do any mods I want now without having to get a new carb.
