Well after much deliberation, I finally bit the bullet and ordered what I wanted.

22x11x12 ITP Sand Stars and custom OMF reinforced 12" Douglas Red Label rims.

The tires arrived today and I was shocked at the lack (in a good way) of side wall with the 12" rim size (given the fact they are 22" tall paddles).

And yes the wheels were spendy, but I love the reinforced stock wheel look and carried it through to the sand wheels as well I will post pics, or at least let you know how they turn out when they arrive!!!
