Default Some Pingel Info

Found some info here through a search and then went on the Pingel website and found P/N 4110-AH61A. This is a single outlet Pro-flo valve for a Banshee or Blaster On/Off only no reserve capability. Pingels price was $70.80 plus shipping.

The only problem with this valve is that when it is mounted on the DS the outlet will face forward unless you mount it backwards then the On/Off would be towards the engine & the no reserve capability

I called Pingel and talked to one of their tech guys and told them the application was for a DS. He gave me the following info for the Valve (this one has On/Reserve/Off) outlet to the rear when mounted & correct adapter plate. The valve P/N is 1110-AH $65.75, & the adapter P/N is A1601A $18.95 includes rubber gasket. Total is $81.70 plus shipping. Got one on the way will post how it works out.

Correction: the 1110-AH valve is a no reserve valve, the reserve valve P/N is 1111-AH. My Bad

Update; got the valve and installed, nice fit. I did an experiment to see the difference in flow of the two valves. I let the stock petcock flow in the "on" position for 10 seconds and got 6oz of fuel did this three times and each time it was right at 6. Then I did the Pingel the same way and what a difference! 14 oz in 10 seconds! I thought maybe a few more ounces than stock, but 1 & 1/3 more flow!

Good job DS part hunting! What mods do you need for this to make a difference? Running nitrous or something?

I would imagine the big bores and nitrous would need this kind of flow. I am not there, I just like knowing the engine cannot ouflow the fuel system. Goes back to my car days.
