Default DS650 BUILD

hey guys got the cams in and its all back together with the exeption of the woods full exhaust after all those parts i forgot to order the exhaust gaskets what an *** i am.
started the bike tho for a couple seconds started right up after the carb took the gas in no hetsitation whats so ever.so far i havnt had a single problem with any of the work i have done to it and yes i have done all the work my self from start to finish. just have to pay close attention to the details. befor i started this project i had trouble getting the bike started. durring the build the valve clearence was way off and that was the reason the bike wasnt started. might be a usefull thing to check if your bike wont start and is back firing during the startup.

im now looking into a graphics it from invisionpowersports.com with maching gripper seatcover. a little pricey but mybirthday precent from the girlfriend not a badpick on her part i ordered the devoure kit at 330.00 i think its a good price seeing that they say it covers all the plastic and includes the seat cover. new plastic would be about the same or even more and its just plain red or black (boring) i should have pics up soon when shes complete.

thanks for the comments guys

Viper, unless all you do is drag race, there is much better nitrous systems out there for both all around riding, and drag racing. Not too many run the Standard wet systems that do anything more than run 300'. If that is what you into, they are good for that. Look into either the Boondockers kits (for the easiest to run, tune and maintain), or the Boss kit for the best regulated kit on the market.

In my opinion, there is no other kit for the average joe that is better than the Boondockers kit. I liked the Boss better for racing, but the Boondockers gets the overall.

The web 110's are a huge torque cam. With that 720 you should have no problems lifting the front end. If you want an easier to tune carb, with alot less thumb fatigue, look into the Lectron. I also like the dual FCR's much better than the Tm carbs. With your current mods, if you can pick up a cheap 45 or 46mm carb, pick it up. Unless you drag race, you will not notice much difference between the 45, to the 48. Except for the few hundy left in your wallet.
