Default 48 lectron compatable thumb throttle.

When I got my 48 lectron ffrom hp research I got the moose throttle that they sold but it is starting to stick and i have had to make alterations to it every time i ride. does anybody know of another thumb throttle that will work with it?

Default 48 lectron compatable thumb throttle.

There are only two. The one you have and a Terrycable one. Which is the exact same thing as what you have. I always take the spring out of them when I use them. I have never had a problem with sticking with either one of the billet thumb throttles.

Also get yourself a cable luber and use it often. If it was once good and now its not, it is most likely just dirty.

As above but you should also check your routing and you may want to pull the slide and clean it.

what spring are you talking about?

Some people have polished the slide as well. I have not yet needed to.

I have polished the slide and it made some difference. Im thinking it has a lot to do with my cable.

Mine sticks sometimes with my 46HV. It is usually just the cable. Take the cable right off and buy one of those cable lube things. I bought the little kit from cable life with the can of lube. Once you lube it properly it should come back around.

AMD is talking about the spring inside the throttle housing. It is not needed - remove it.

I dont guess I ever had a spring to start with cause the only one I know of connected to the throttle is in the carb.
