the frame is held to gather with aircraft grade bolts. they hold wings on commercial jets. the engine is still made by ROTAX. after 10 hrs of ride time on the motor it releases a little bit more power. i was on the ds450 and ran a stock honda 450 in the sand 600ft and was right at 7 bikes ahead of it.

 

I know the DS650 gets the axe in 2008. Have not heard if there is a replacement for it or not.
