Default water pump leak cheap fix

for anyone with their can-am water pumps leaking you can go to the suzuki dealership and buy pellots to put in radiator to stop your water pump from dripping will not fix one that is pouring. To keep your wpump from leaking you can put a good silicone over the weep hole on bottom of pump.. This weep hole allows fine grit sand to enter weep hole and deteriorate the pump shaft and eat pump seal..To fix wpump you have to pull both drive shafts which could be very expensive. Just trying to save you fellows out there some time and money hope this helps. P.S. just got a new outty 800 xt runnin 30" mud lites no lift or rubbin hmf, full richocet skids and dobeck fuel programmer on order

a rig like this will maintain function of wheephole while not allowing debris to enter. its just a tiny hose barb and piece of vinyl tubing wrapped in a loop.
if the water pump seal fails, the water can drip from wheephole without being forced thru the second seal into the crankcase. plugging the wheephole will force the water into crankcase, rather than letting it hit the ground.

I now this picture I posted is for a DS650, but can be implemented on any motor.
water pump rebuild is easy on DS, not so easy on Outy, not sure how hard it may be to access the wheephole for tapping threads for this rig but worth a look...
