need new rings bad

Default need new rings bad

need new rings for a 14:1 piston that was bought from mr hp. Were can i get a set other than research hp ? i dont remember if the piston was marked by a manufacturer .

HPR did a lot of work in having their pistons made custom, by JE I think but not certain, but it is not a typical run of the mill shelf piston. for this reason, it may be best to get the ring package from them, so that you are certain that the ring set you get is exactly right for the piston.

Your best bet would be to try Eric (Mr. Horsepower) @ Oldham Machine Works. You should be able to throw a post up at On-dunes (he has his own section there) to get a hold of him.

They are from JE. Try Eric first theres quite a few different ring set part numbers. You need to make sure you get the right ones. If you cant get through call JE directly, Took a bit of work but I finally got the right ones for my 730.
