My thumb hurts
#1
When riding after a while my throttle thumb hurts real bad to the point I have to let off to give it a break. I never experianced this on my previous ATV (Yamaha warrior 350 6 spd)
I have seen the thumb throttle extensions wondering if that will ease the pain.

yea, they do a bit. My dad has one on his bike. if you get one of the longer ones you actually use a bit of the palm of yer hand when riding, that takes some strain off the thumb. the short ones don;t do much though because they don't reach to your palm.

Stay away from the "Handy Throttle" made by Handy Throttle. This product is very dangerous & the installation is poorly done for ATV use. I believe this Product should be pulled from the market before someone gets killed using it, I've seen it used on another ATV & it caused that rider to lose control of his Grizz660...

I'm thankful someone else is complaining about the CanAm throttle. I have complained and I've been told it is only in my mind. IMO the CanAm throttle is way too stiff and causes me so much pain that I can't ride very far without stopping.
The most comfortable throttle I have experienced it on the Polaris, it is so comfortable and easy to keep a steady speed. Why can't all manufactures use the shape and design of Polaris for their throttles....

That looks like what my wife has only hers says moose on it. She really likes hers and you can bend it to shape. Rode it a bit last w/e used my palm most of the time on it so no thumb strain.
