Has any one ran these with a comp cut for play duning?? how do they compair to the 22" x 10" (8 Paddle) extreme haulers?
I have heard nothing but raves on these on 2 strokes, lots of guys run em on Banshees and LT500s

Sandskates are a great play/dune tire, never had any comp cut though.
The 8-paddle extreme's you spoke of are gonna hook much harder in a straight line but suffer on play duning/turning, etc. where the sandskates will shine, you have to draw a line on what you want to do with the bike, the best of both worlds on a stockish type bike to play on would be the Sandskates, if you have a good amount of h/p and want to drag more than play go with a straight paddle.

Sorry, but that does not work in reality for the DS. On the DS we have found that the flat paddle turns and dunes way better then any of the "V" cut paddles. The only time I have seen the "V" cut out dune the flat paddle is on side hills. And in my experiance, the sand stars hooked up harder out of the hole then any of the others have.....
That being said, I do have a set of sand Skat 2s in my garage taking up space if anyone wants to try them out.

The skat-edge10 pad are the best for all around the hook up like 8pad hollers but turn like the sand skates, just my2cents

I'm with Dragon on this one, I have not had the Sand Skates, but I did have the Sand Skate IIs, Sand Stars, and now the 8 paddle double buff extremes, and I prefer the extremes for all around duning on my DS. I think its just because of the weight on the front of the DS that still lets it steer and play ride with the straight paddles.
My friend went from the Sand Stars to haulers on his TRX450 and went back to the Sand Stars as the haulers would just keep the front up all the time.

i have a pair of skat trak haulers and a pair of itp sand stars.the haulers are a lot more money but they kick ***. they hook up way better. and yes you can still turn, maybe not as well as the sand stars but good enough. the only place the my sand stars get my haulers is in jumping and looks department.
