Has anyone had any issues with axles on their Outlanders?? I ride with a 400 and an 800, and the 400 broke a front inner CV and the 800 broke both rear inner CVs at differant times. Now before everyone gets their backs up, I'm not trying to bash, and both bikes are running 27s and are ridden hard and put away wet LOL I'm just curious if anyone else has run into this problem?? Thanks

 

Sorry to hear about the axle problem. I have an 06 800 XT with 1100 miles on it, and so far no problems. My father has an 07 400 max, I think it has 700 miles on it and no problems. We are still running the stock tires though, but I can't imagine that breaking the axles. Hope you get it figured out.

 

Now all the axles have broken in mud holes. The 400 broke when the Visco-lock engaged and broke the inner joint, and the 800 broke both rears on rocky, muddy uphill climbs. I was just curious if anyone else had any issues, as both Bombs I ride with have had issues.
