wtf????? thats basically the same engine as the 700 raptor, but they added 100lbs and IRS

this is PATHETIC, even the 2006 outlaw 500 wasnt this heavy (well maybe with all the fluids it gained 61lbs)

i hate it, it will be the 525 for me if anything irs

$20 says it will go the way of the outlaw 500

unless this quad has a turbo, or 14.5:1 compression, or built in nitro+a decade of nitrous tank refills..... its gonna suck for speed

think of it as an outlaw525X2 (like the outtie max, or sportsman X2 with 2 seats)

it even looks like it uses the raptor700's "bumper" if you can call it that.... however it has a 450r headlight and fenders that remind me a LOT of the kfx700, i wonder if they will get patent/copyright issues?

Ask this. . . how tough would it have been for Bomb to release this quad?

Let's see. . .
686 (bore the current engine +2mm and go ahead and add +1mm stroke) - Shouldn't be that tough to tool up for these minor changes.
Fuel Injection - Rotax can do this in their sleep
Reverse - This would take a bit more but, again. . . Rotax should be able to do this in their sleep. Would require re-tool of the current engine though.
IRS - Don't need it. I wouldn't even ask Bomb to do this.

About the Honda - Look how the seat wraps around the gas tank. . . sure reminds me of my old DS!!!

Funny how Honda thinks there is enough of a market to build a big heavy big-bore but, Bomb dropped their DS.

I would guess this Honda may be the bike of choice for the Big-Boy's in the future? Wonder what the max rider weight is? The Raptor is 220lbs. Hmmm.

I'm glad to see big bores making a comeback.. and Honda took a while to do it. However.. I'd get a Raptor 700 over this. That rear IRS is just plain silly. Honda makes a good bike, but I am disappointed with this one. I can't imagine this selling like hotcakes. Can-Am needs to put that Renegade Motor in a sport frame manual transmission and while they are at it.. increase the displacement a little (900cc?). THEN they have out of the box dune machine.

 

If your havnt rode a sport qaud with irs you dont no what your missing, The 525
outlaw is kick *** Honda may have coppied off polaris oh well every body does.
