ron woods stage 1 kit question
#11
Jimmie,
My DS does not sputter or anything when I romp on the throttle. It revs very fast but that might be due to my head being ported too. Better flow. I guess the only thing different between my stage II and a stage III is the valve size. I have a friend that I work with who custom ports racing heads for drag cars and he owed me some favors.

First go to this website: www.mikuni.com/carbtech/index.htm
This page show a good picture of the rod and boot: www.mikuni.com/carbtech/hsrcarburetors04.htm
This page has some manuals you can download: www.mikuni.com/carbtech/tech_info.htm
Tuning is required to get the pump working good. Smaller size accelerator pump nozzles are needed, and possibly a smaller pilot jet. Maybe even a leaner jet needle. I will post more info later.
