Default feel like an ideot!

so I am trying to adjust my chain on my DS650 and I cant figure it out at all! the manual has the worst instructions ever on it! I just cant figure it! maybe someone can give me a pointer! I put a 15 tooth on soo I need to tighten it up a little!! I loosened off the axle nuts and I have the little rod adjuster threw into the eccentric axle housing then it says to turn the axle and then that just bends that little rod like what the hell maybe I am just dumb! any help would be appreciated! and if anyone has a big gun full system I would like to know what they think of it thanks guys!

Loosen them up good and then try a rubber mallet hitting the housing. Mien had alot of crap in it that came out then it would move.

Did you mean the bolts that clamp the axle or the actual axle nuts?

The bolts on the end of the swing arm that pinch the axle carrier.
