Did you guys get a mailer from BRP about this streetbike?

Pretty cool. It looks as if you can register for a demo ride too.

They had a demo ride here in Wisconsin and I went. I just never got to ride one, but I did sit on one. It felt like sitting on the DS650. The bike is set up very well from what I can see. I bet that you would get some looks riding the on the streets.

Can-AM in town told me that they have sold over 30 in the last few months and havent even touched on yet. I dont have one bit of interest in them but somebody must. I gess CAN-AM has a nitch for things like this. He also told me it out sold the Yam side of the dealer 2to1 in that time and wont have on on the floor for over a year. Who would have guest?

They suck in traffic, you can't split lanes. There's a reason most people don't ride tricycles on the street. If you're going to take up that much space, you might as well take a car. I just don't see the point of the thing, it's about as useless as a Segway. It's one of those "great solutions" that is still looking for the problem. The only time I could see someone needing or wanting a trike is if they had an injury that prevented them from riding a two-wheeled motorcycle, and they really wanted to experience being in the wind. Can-Am's tricycle isn't the only solution, trikes have been around for years, they just figured out how to build a really expensive one.
