Little backround:
Riding dirtbikes and quads since I was about 8, am 43 now.
Currently ride a super modified (lowered, engine work, clutch work, shock work, etc..) Kawi V-force and a new Grizzly.
We ride tight woods mostly and rocky Pennsylvania terrain.
The V has kicked my *** twice this year (and the 3rd or 4th time overall) so I worry of being gun shy when I get it back on the trails. The rear suspension is the culprit here. I have revalved the stock shock but it really needs to be replaced with an ohlns/elka etc.
Problem is with the shaft drive it will never be as good as say a chain drive suspension. So I can spend a grand on a top notch shock and it will not cure the problem. It will make it better but not fix it. Unlike the front when I replaced the shocks it was night and day.
Anyway, I am thinking of getting rid of both and replacing with the renegade.
I know very little about the machine except for what I read.
Reliability???
I will need to plow with the renegade, is that possible?
Winch location?
Can you ride in 2wd?
Thanks for any info,
gator

The Renegade is a great trail machine. I just came from a 50km rally through the woods/muskeg and no one could pull away from me. It handles great! But if the area is pretty rocky i would recommand skid plates.
Can-am has come out with a winch kit for the Renegade. I hear it comes with a little work like removing a front bracket. But that is only a 1500lbs winch. I wouldnt go any smaller than a 2500lbs winch. Can-am has also come out with a plow with the adaptor for the gade.
