Default Can-am Purchase

Hello all!
So I'm lookin to get a new machine. I feel like I just got done with this whole process back in '05 when I bought my 650V2 cat. I've ridden it for 1200 miles and its just pushed my last button, time for a new beast. I feel like I'm on the craps table making a gamble, so I'm hoping you all can put my mind to rest in seeking out the toughest most reliable machine out there.
I'm not going to bull ****, I ride hard, and I ride just about anywhere. Anything from trails, technical rocky mountains, mud holes, work around the house and hunting. I want to know I can go riding hard one day, clean up the machine and be back on the woods the next day pulling out that once in a life time 250lb tirty point buck, and not worry about my work horse.
I want to know about the Outlander 800 H.O EFI. I know she has plenty of power, but does that power perform on the ground. I was disapointed in the arcticcat 650 in that the belt slipped, no good with all that power when its not gettin to your wheels. Had to put in a clutch kit and a CDI box. Performance improved. Broke a CV joint, not impressed, I want to know that the machine is built to handle its own power. A few other lil things happened with the cat, but I don't want to dicourage ppl from them cause I still think it is a good machine, just not for me.
How does the visco-lock perform on the Outlander. Are guys snapping **** off when the power goes from wheel to wheel?
How have the frams been holding up? I know the skid plates are a given, the center frame is too exposed to rocks and such.
I ride in the whinter and like to use tracks. I'm thinking of purchasing the tracks from Can-am, has anyone experanced them and how do they perform? I loved them on my cat, would go through 4ft of snow with out a problem.
I test drove a 500 outlander to get a feel for the ride and suspension, snoothest ride I've ever had, I've herd the front springs are soft, so I guess its given to upgrade.
All in all I want a machine that is going perform like it claims, and i want it to be reliable. I'm looking to you all to give me as much feed back as you can. I've riden with polarises Griz, and cats. They all have there perks, just not for me. I've never even seen an outlander on the trail, I just heard one run just the other day. I've heard good things about this machine, but I want to save the bull **** the dealers feed and here what you all have to say. Sorry for such a long post, I just wanted to get my frustration out there, nobody likes to lose on the craps table especialy twice!

HAPPY RIDDING

Default Can-am Purchase

This is mostly a DS forum, Aurora Wheelers Forum is all Outys, which is where you want to post this, just copy and paste, clean it up a little in the process.

I would say good luck, but you won't need it with an Outy.
