so anyone run some paddles on a renegade? Im hoping to go to dumont soon and want to put some on the back. Thinking either 25x10 or 27x12 AMS aerospeed or 26x10 sand star. What you guys think? I was thinking the 25's for that extra power to race 450's up comp. Seems like the 27x12 might eat up alot of punch being so tall and wide. What you gusy think?

there was a stripped down Outlander that was running the hill with us at DS Days and I think he had smooth buffs on the front and the ITP Dune Stars on the back.

DSNut was looking at the Outland with me and might have a better memory of what he was running. He had done a lot of motor work and seemed to be pulling the tires well.

Hello, I use the 14 paddle haulers at about 3-4 lb of air. I hear the rippers might be a better choice for traction due to the larger tread size of the paddles. I started out using 10 paddle haulers, can't really tell to much diff between the two.

I have the stock rim on the back because its wider than my itp rim. It gives a little larger footprint.they are the 26x12x12x14. I know of someone who had the 25"tires but i dont't remember how he liked that setup. I have also tried dunestars on the front and back together, and just on the back.the dunestars didn't bite as good as the haulers x extermes that i now have. My friends have 10 paddle and 12 paddle, and i think that 12 is just as effective as the 14's i have.. Another renegade rider is using the rippers and swears they are alot better for hookup.by the way the 10 paddle i have i will sell, they are just sitting in my garage.I like to do business in person so they can't be a misunderstanding.Chooseing a tire is somewhat complicated because of the type of riding you might do. All said, i would have to say i like the 14's but don't know if they are worth the extra cost. The problem with the heavy machines are when you hit the throttle hard they like to kind of settle down, dig a bit before launching.
