Default 07 or 08 Outty 800 Xt

I will be picking up a new Outlander 800XT this week but cant decide between the 08 or 07 model. Has enough improvements been done to warrant the 08" price or should I save a little money ($600.00) and go 08"? I guess another problem I have is if I go 07 it would be green which is the color I prefer and if I go 08' it would be red. I will be using it for hunting a couple times a year which is why green was on my list. What should I do???

My advice, stay away from green unless you don't mind seeing every little scratch. The plastics are very soft and show everything. Just get a cheap camo cover for the times in the woods. Better yet, get camo and you won't see the scratches.

I will go either camo or red but I am having a tough time deciding and I need to make my mind up by tomorrow morning when I pick her up. Cant wait!

Don't know if this has been fixed, but the front fenders have been know to split off in cold weather with camoflage. I wouldn't believe the salesman if he tells you it's been fixed. They don't know a damn thing, and will also lie to get rid of what they want to.

I have heard deer are color blind. Maybe they could make out the atv shape, don't know. People drive right up on wild animals in Africa in just about anything.

Green will turn whitish color after it's been scratched up some.

I would get the red '07, make him come down more than $600, get 30 months warranty or more.
